A police escort attached to the Abuja-Kaduna train route passed away while on duty, reportedly due to chest pain. Despite efforts to manage the situation by a doctor among the passengers, the officer could not be saved.
Emergency medical care was unavailable on the train, and the officer’s body was later retrieved by a police team upon arrival in Abuja.
The Nigeria Railway Corporation spokesperson has yet to respond to inquiries regarding the incident.
