Charly Boy Clarifies: “I’m Not Gay”

Renowned singer and provocateur, Charles Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, has addressed lingering speculation about his sexuality, definitively stating that he is not gay.

In a recent interview with reality star Uriel Oputa, Charly Boy acknowledged that while he possesses certain feminine traits, he does not identify as gay. He humorously referred to his feminine side as “Linda” and reminisced about his past persona, “Miss Zigizigi,” which he portrayed during the Charly Boy show.

The outspoken artist emphasized that if he were gay, he would openly advocate for LGBTQ+ rights in Nigeria. Despite rumors and assumptions, Charly Boy remains firm in his self-identification and commitment to his beliefs.
