Cristiano Ronaldo showcased his brilliance as Al-Nassr delivered a commanding 8-0 victory over Abha in a Saudi Pro League encounter on Tuesday.
Ronaldo, with his 65th career hat-trick, spearheaded Al-Nassr’s dominant display, which highlighted a significant gap in quality between the two teams from the outset.
The Portuguese maestro opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a precise free-kick, capitalizing on Abdulmajeed Al-Sulaiheem’s foul on the edge of the box. His low-driven effort eluded goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu to find the back of the net.
Ten minutes later, Ronaldo doubled his tally with another expertly taken set-piece, curling the ball beyond the wall and into the top corner from nearly 20 yards out.
Adding to his impressive performance, Ronaldo provided an assist for Sadio Mane, who calmly slotted home from close range. The 39-year-old completed his hat-trick just before halftime, showcasing composure as he chipped the ball over the advancing Tatarusanu.
Before the break, Ronaldo set up Abdulmajeed Al-Sulaiheem for Al-Nassr’s fifth goal, highlighting his versatility and impact on the match.
Although substituted at halftime, Al-Nassr continued their onslaught, scoring three more goals to seal the emphatic victory. Abdulrahman Ghareeb and a brace from Abdulaziz Al-Aliwa completed the scoring, capping off a memorable performance for the visiting side.
