Big Brother Naija Season 8 winner, Ilebaye Odiniya, has confirmed that she has received her prize money from the show’s organizers. Ilebaye, who emerged as the winner of the All-Star edition of the reality show in October last year, revealed this during an Instagram live session with her fans.
Her confirmation came after Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Phyna, raised concerns about not receiving her N100 million prize from the 2022 edition of the show. Phyna expressed her frustrations in a post on her X page on April 2, 2024, where she hinted at issues with the organizers.
Addressing the matter, Ilebaye stated, “I have received my [BBNaija prize] money. I haven’t even touched a tiny part of it. My money hasn’t finished. I haven’t touched my prize money. And this is a fact.”
