In a special Easter message, former House of Representatives member Hon. Farah Dagogo has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and government officials across all levels in Nigeria to redouble their efforts in improving the country’s conditions and alleviating the suffering of its people.
Acknowledging Nigeria’s current challenges, Dagogo emphasized his unwavering belief in the nation’s potential for prosperity and urged leaders to pursue the right policies to overcome difficulties.
As a chieftain of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dagogo drew parallels between the sacrifices made by Jesus Christ for mankind and the responsibilities of leadership in Nigeria. He encouraged leaders of all religious affiliations to emulate Christ’s teachings and readiness to inconvenience themselves for the betterment of citizens’ lives.
