Katsina Governor Inaugurates Six Permanent Secretaries

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has sworn in six new permanent secretaries as part of efforts to enhance the state’s administrative capability.

The swearing-in ceremony took place on Thursday at the Katsina Government House, with prominent government officials and well-wishers in attendance.

The newly appointed permanent secretaries are: Jamilu Yakubu Batagarawa, Samaila Yusuf Bindawa, Lawal Suleiman Abdullahi, Hamza Mani Tafashiya, Ahmed Hassan Mashi, and Ibrahim Muazu.

Administering the oath of office, the state’s Chief Judge, Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar, emphasized the solemnity of their responsibilities before a gathering of government dignitaries and supporters.

Governor Radda underscored the merit-based selection process, highlighting that the appointees successfully navigated a rigorous examination to secure their positions.

Addressing the gathering, Governor Radda congratulated the new permanent secretaries and emphasized their pivotal role in addressing the state’s economic and security challenges.

“In light of Katsina’s significant economic and security challenges, your expertise, dedication, and leadership will be essential in overcoming them,” stated Governor Radda.

He urged the appointees to collaborate effectively and work collectively towards fostering prosperity and peace within the state.

Furthermore, Governor Radda reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to addressing the prevailing security concerns in Katsina, emphasizing the importance of community participation in resolving these challenges.

As the holy month of Ramadan continues, Governor Radda urged residents to offer prayers and contribute to community efforts aimed at surmounting the obstacles facing the state.
