The bodies of the 17 soldiers who lost their lives in the Okuama community of Bomadi LGA, Delta State, have been transported to the military cemetery in Abuja for burial.
These military personnel, including a lieutenant colonel, two majors, one captain, and 12 soldiers, were killed during a “peacekeeping mission” in the Okuama community on March 14.
The bodies arrived at the cemetery in separate ambulances around 2:39 pm.
