Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company has committed to supplying special brand official vehicles to members of the Abia State House of Assembly. The announcement was made by Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Ihuoma Emeruwa, the Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, following discussions with Chief Innocent Chukwuma, the CEO of Innoson Vehicles.

Under this initiative, Innoson Motors will manufacture and deliver official vehicles for the 24 members of the Abia State House of Assembly. The vehicles, tailored to meet the specific requirements of the lawmakers, are expected to be delivered by April 2024. This collaboration underscores the commitment of both the state government and Innoson Motors to promote indigenous products and stimulate economic growth.

Furthermore, in recognition of the government’s support, Innoson Motors has announced plans to establish a service plant in Abia State, as well as utilize Aba as a hub for the conversion of vehicles to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). These initiatives align with Governor Alex Otti’s vision of supporting local industries and enhancing the state’s economic resilience.

The establishment of a service plant and the supply of official vehicles mark significant milestones in the efforts to promote local patronage and support domestic manufacturers. By prioritizing locally made products, the Abia State Government aims to create opportunities for job creation and industrial development, ultimately contributing to the sustainable growth of the state’s economy.

With this partnership between Innoson Motors and the Abia State Government, stakeholders are optimistic about the positive impact it will have on the automotive industry and the overall economic landscape of the state.
