One of the prominent governorship aspirants of the All-Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Dr. Paul Akintelure, has passed away unexpectedly.
Dr. Akintelure, who was a respected medical practitioner, reportedly succumbed to a brief illness during the early hours of Tuesday while in Lagos.
The news of his untimely demise was confirmed by Mr. Alex Kalejaiye, the Publicity Secretary of the APC in the state, who expressed shock and sorrow at the loss.
Details surrounding Dr. Akintelure’s death have not yet been disclosed, leaving many in the community saddened and seeking answers.
In response to inquiries, the APC spokesperson acknowledged the tragic event, stating, “It is true, I can confirm it. We would issue a statement about it shortly.”
