Nigerian music sensation Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning artist known for his distinctive sound and global appeal, has once again etched his name in the annals of music history. In a remarkable achievement, Burna Boy becomes the first African artist to have three of his albums amass over 400 million streams on Spotify.

This milestone was reached with the success of his seventh album, ‘I Told Them’, featuring the chart-topping hit ‘City Boy’, which surpassed the 400 million streams mark. This accomplishment adds to the accolades of his fourth album, ‘African Giant’, and his sixth album, ‘Love, Damini’, both of which have also crossed the 400 million streaming threshold.

Burna Boy’s journey to international acclaim began with his breakout single ‘YE’, catapulting him to superstardom. His Grammy-nominated album ‘African Giant’ further solidified his position in the global music scene, boasting hit tracks such as ‘On The Low’, ‘Killin Dem’, ‘Gbona’, and ‘Dangote’.

Notably, his sixth album, ‘Love, Damini’, holds the distinction of being his most streamed album, featuring popular tracks like ‘Last Last’, ‘For My Hand’ featuring Ed, ‘Different Sizes’ featuring Victony, ‘Vanilla’, and ‘Common Person’. Several songs from this album have received certifications, including ‘Last Last’, which achieved RIAA platinum status.
