Dr. Krishnan Ranganath, the regional executive for West Africa at Africa Data Centres, has been distinguished as one of the ‘Top 50 Most Valuable Personalities (MVP)’ in Nigeria’s Digital Economy.
The accolade, bestowed upon exceptional individuals who have driven Nigeria’s digital economy forward, acknowledges Ranganath’s leadership and accomplishments. It aims to inspire and honor individuals who have contributed to the innovation and progress of Nigeria’s dynamic digital landscape.
At an event in Lagos attended by government and private sector figures, Knowhow Media, the event organizer, highlighted the significant evolution of Nigeria’s digital economy. This evolution, it noted, has been propelled by vision, innovation, and dedication, exemplified by individuals like Ranganath.
Ranganath, drawing on over three decades of expertise in global market dynamics with various multinational corporations across Emerging Markets, particularly in data centers, has been instrumental in driving Nigeria’s digital economy forward.

In response, Ranganath, represented by Eugene Uka, the head of sales, West Africa at Africa Data Centres, expressed gratitude for the acknowledgment, affirming his commitment to continue contributing to the nation’s growth.
Eugene emphasized the significance of Ranganath’s recognition, particularly in the data centers space. He highlighted projections indicating a remarkable 220% growth in Nigeria’s data centers ecosystem by 2027, reaching a valuation of $288.8 million. This growth, he noted, is poised to significantly impact Nigeria’s digital economy and overall economic landscape, attracting global investments into the country.
