Mr. Chizorom Harrison Ofoegbu, also known as Ijele Speaks, a major figure on the social networking platform X, was arrested on Friday following accusations against Evangelist Ebuka Obi.

Just days ago, Ofoegbu took to Twitter to call for the arrest of Pastor Ebuka Obi, alleging that all of his reported miracles are fraudulent. However, his outspokenness has now led to his detention by the Nigeria Police Force.

Yesterday, Ofoegbu was summoned to the police station in Abuja in connection with allegations of criminal intimidation, cyberstalking, cyberbullying, and threats to the life of the pastor. A petition letter outlined the charges against him, prompting an invitation for an interview with the Assistant Inspector-General of Police at Zone 7 Police Headquarters in Abuja on March 21, 2024, at 11:00 am.

Despite his compliance with the invitation, Ofoegbu was not released by the police, and on Friday morning, he was transferred to the Keffi Correctional Centre in Nasarawa State.

Upon attempting to obtain further information from the police officer mentioned in the invitation letter, reporters were informed that details would only be provided if a correspondent physically visited their Abuja headquarters.
