Nigerian musician, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has addressed the controversy surrounding his decision to exhume his mother’s body for reburial.
The ‘Zazu’ singer recently garnered attention after exhuming his mother’s remains and reinterred them.
In a viral video circulating on X platform, Portable offered insight into his actions, explaining that the land where his mother was initially buried had been sold.
“At the tender age of 13, I lost my mother. I made the decision to exhume her body because the land where she rested was sold,” he stated.
Furthermore, he expressed his intention to erect a mansion on the site where he laid his mother to rest, illustrating his desire to honor her memory in a meaningful way.
