The Federal Government has called on state governors to utilize available resources to alleviate the suffering of citizens across the country.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, emphasized during a courtesy visit to the Emir of Dutse in Jigawa State that “President Bola Tinubu is seriously disturbed with the current situation the citizens are going through, particularly in the areas of insecurity and economic hardship.”
Idris stressed the need for proactive measures in addressing prevailing challenges and prioritizing the welfare of the people. He urged state governors to use the available resources to help citizens out of the current hardship they are facing, citing increased funds from the Federation Account.
Idris highlighted the importance of effective utilization of resources at the state level and assured that the government is committed to resolving the situation. Emir Hameem Nuhu Sanusi commended the government’s initiatives towards ensuring the well-being of the citizens.
