HRM Clement O. Ikolo, the Ovie of Ewu-Urhobo Kingdom in Delta State, has spoken out about the turmoil gripping his Kingdom.
Responding to the devastating loss of 16 soldiers and officers during the Delta community’s unrest on Thursday, the monarch expressed his deep concern over the situation.
“It is a very somber time for our kingdom. These military personnel are tasked with safeguarding our nation and should be revered,” remarked HRM Clement O. Ikolo.
He continued, “It is deeply distressing that those who protect us have fallen victim to violence. I wholeheartedly denounce these acts. May their souls rest in peace.”
