Nigerian music sensation Anthony Victor, widely known as Victony, recently shared insights into his backup plan, revealing his inclination towards the movie industry if he hadn’t pursued a career in music.

The artist behind the hit track ‘Soweto’ confessed that while he acknowledges his lack of prowess in acting, he would still have ventured into the world of cinema given the chance. Speaking candidly during an interview with MTV Base, Victony stated, “I would have been acting if I wasn’t an artist. I don’t know how to act though, but I can try.”

Despite his modesty about his acting abilities, Victony expressed a willingness to explore the craft, underscoring his adventurous spirit and openness to new challenges.

Delving into his fashion choices, Victony attributed his style to his father, drawing inspiration from the vintage fashion sense he observed growing up. He reminisced about his father’s old-school attire, which left a lasting impression on him and ultimately influenced his own sartorial preferences. “My look is basically a reflection of who I am; my background, my story, and my whole person,” he affirmed.

In a nod to his musical tastes, Victony disclosed that if he were limited to listening to just one album for three years straight, it would be ‘Laughter, Tears & Goosebumps’ by Fireboy DML. This choice speaks volumes about his appreciation for Fireboy DML’s artistry and the timeless quality of the album’s tracks.
