Bashir Jamoh, the Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), has officially concluded his tenure in office.

While attempts to reach NIMASA’s Head of Media, Edward Osagie, for confirmation were unsuccessful, a reliable source within the agency confirmed that Jamoh’s tenure ended on March 10, 2024.

According to the source, Jamoh has handed over the reins to Chudi Ofordile, the Executive Director of Finance at NIMASA.

Jamoh, who assumed the position of DG on March 10, 2020, appointed by Former President Muhammadu Buhari, had previously served as the agency’s finance executive. He succeeded Dakuku Peterside in the role.
