Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has tipped Man City has favourite to win the UEFA Champions League.
He made this known on he backdrop of the team’s impressive performance, where the team defeated FC Copenhagen 3-1 in the round of 16 second leg tie at the Etihad Stadium.
The England international stated that he doesn’t see any team overcoming Man City over two legs in the competitions.
“I just don’t see anybody beating them over two legs. Then it depends on who gets in the final,” Ferdinand.
“Whoever they are playing against in the final needs that stardust from one or two players who can turn a game on its head, then they have an opportunity, a chance.
“But City, I think they are standout favourites. They are a level above.”
