The United Arab Emirates (UAE) government in a significant move aimed at strengthening bilateral relations has announced the resumption of visa services for Nigerians, effective from Monday, March 4, 2024.
The announcement, conveyed in a communique released to the press on Tuesday, follows constructive discussions between Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
“The governments of Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates are pleased to announce a significant development in our diplomatic relations: the resumption of visa services for Nigerian citizens intending to visit the UAE starting from 4th March 2024,” the communique states.
