Residents of Iddo-Sarki, located along Airport Road in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, took to the streets on Monday to protest against what they claim is the Nigerian Navy’s attempt to seize their land.
Tensions escalated two weeks ago when the Nigerian Navy erected demolition signposts in the area, demanding that residents evacuate their homes.
The move sparked fear and uncertainty among the natives and residents, who now fear losing their homes and livelihoods due to the alleged land takeover by the Nigerian Navy.
