President Bola Tinubu has taken a significant step towards enhancing power supply and bolstering industrial development by approving the appointment of a new management team for the FGN Power Company Limited.
The appointed members are:
Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Kenny Osebi Anuwe (reappointed)
Company Secretary/Legal Advisor – Prof Mamman Lawal (reappointed)
Chief Technical Officer (CTO) – Ebenezer Olawale Fapohunda
Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) – Babatunde Daramola Oniru
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Julius Oyekola Olabiyi
With the full constitution of this management team, President Tinubu expects the FGN Power Company Limited to diligently pursue the core objectives of the Presidential Power Initiative (PPI). This includes collaborating closely with Siemens Energy to comprehensively overhaul, modernize, and expand the national grid. These efforts aim to ensure the growth and stability of the Nigeria Electricity Supply Industry (NESI).
