The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, has called on First Lady Oluremi Tinubu to relay to President Bola Tinubu the dire situation of hunger and starvation in the country.

Speaking during the opening of a faculty of law at a private university in Kano, the emir emphasized the urgency of addressing the worsening hunger crisis, stressing that it requires immediate attention. He also urged Mrs.

Tinubu to convey concerns about insecurity, emphasizing the need for decisive action to combat the threats.

Additionally, Bayero touched on the relocation of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and certain Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) departments to Lagos, urging the government to provide clear explanations to the public and address concerns.

Finally, he encouraged Mrs. Tinubu to advance her Renewed Hope Initiative Pet Program, highlighting its potential to alleviate the plight of the less privileged.
