The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a pregnant woman, Amarachi Akaolisa, along with three other women and two men in separate operations in Anambra State and Lagos.
The suspects were apprehended for dealing in illicit substances such as cannabis, tramadol, diazepam, and codeine syrup.
In Anambra State, the arrests were made in Oraifite and Umuni-Evili, Aguleri, while in Lagos, raids were conducted in various parts of the state.
The operations resulted in the recovery of over 6 kilograms of cannabis, as well as quantities of tramadol, diazepam, and codeine syrup.
The suspects will face charges related to drug trafficking and possession.
