The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has fully restored the national electricity grid following a partial disturbance that occurred earlier.
The TCN initiated immediate restoration after the incident, which affected power generation, and the grid is now fully restored.
The low power generation has persisted since January 2024, exacerbated by gas constraints.
The TCN will investigate the cause of the tripping of power generating units during the incident.
