The lowest cadre in Nigerian football leagues, Nationwide League One, has mapped out plans for the registration exercise for clubs for the 2024 season.
A statement by the league body reads: “The Board of Nationwide League One has directed the Secretariat to commence registration for the 2024 season with amendments to registration charges as directed by the NLO Congress due to current inflation.
Sequel to the above, the NLO Secretariat hereby wishes to inform all the clubs in the league that preparation for the 2024 league has commenced.
All clubs must have registered on FIFA CONNECT before registration with NLO, as the collection of Players’ Hard Copy License shall be available from 15th January 2024.
No club will be registered without payment of registration fees, and all Youth League clubs must present players’ NIN and Primary School certificates.
Club registration closes on Friday, 1st March 2024, as the 2024 season will kick off from 13th April 2024.

Youth League: N300K – Payment covers pre-competition medical assessment, comprehensive insurance cover for players & officials.
Clubs are advised to make season registration fee payments directly to the NLO account presented above; this will enable the Secretariat to confirm the clubs’ affiliation and registration.
