The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) airstrikes in Kaduna State’s Birnin Gwari area killed 15 terrorists along the Kwiga-Kampamin Doka axis.

The operation followed an intelligence report on the terrorist movement in the region.

The targeted syndicate was linked to an ambush on troops at Kwanan Mutuwa on January 27 and other attacks.

NAF’s precision strike on a terrorist convoy, consisting of 15 motorcycles, resulted in the neutralization of several terrorists.

Air Vice Marshall Edward Gabkwet, the NAF spokesperson, reported the success, with Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, commending the operation’s effectiveness.

Efforts to combat terrorism are urged to be sustained.
