AFCON: Angola Players Get Cash, iPhone15 ahead of Super Eagles Clash

Ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinal against Nigeria, Angola’s national team, the Palancas Negras, has received cash and material gifts as rewards for their performance.

Banco Angolano de Investimento announced a cash reward of five million Kwanzas (approximately N5.41 million) for each player and coaching staff.

Aguinaldo Jaime, the President of UNITEL, provided an iPhone 15 with free calls, SMS, and internet for a year to every member of the delegation.

Sodiam EP pledged $250,000 if Angola advances to the final.

Both teams, Nigeria and Angola, enter the match with unbeaten records in the tournament, with Nigeria securing victories against Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, and Cameroon in the quarterfinals.
