Customs Intercepts Cocaine, Colorado, Ammunition At Lagos Port

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has reported the seizure of illicit substances worth N4.279 billion at the Lagos seaport.

The seized items, which include cocaine, Indian hemp, Colorado, live ammunition, and chemicals for manufacturing crystal methamphetamine, were imported from Canada and South Africa.

The Customs Comptroller General, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, disclosed that the confiscated items also included weapons, such as five pistols, 445 rounds of live ammunition, and several empty pistol magazines.

The illicit drugs were found in containers imported from Canada and Durban, South Africa.
