The King of England, Charles III, was hospitalized for prostate surgery on Friday morning, as revealed by Buckingham Palace.
The Palace had announced earlier last week that King Charles III’s public engagements would be postponed for a short period as he was scheduled to undergo treatment for an enlarged prostate.
“In common with thousands of men each year, the King has sought treatment for an enlarged prostate. His Majesty’s condition is benign, and he will attend the hospital next week for a corrective procedure. The King’s public engagements will be postponed for a short period of recuperation,” the statement had said.
