Zimbabwe to Host UNECA Conference of African Ministers of Finance

Zimbabwe is set to host the 56th session of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) Conference of African Ministers of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development.

The conference will take place from February 28 to March 5 in Victoria Falls. Zimbabwe’s Minister of Finance, Economic Development, and Investment Promotion, Mthuli Ncube, highlighted that the event would address challenges in financing the transition to green economies, along with issues related to climate change, pandemics, growing debt, and conflicts.

The conference aims to facilitate dialogue and exchange of views among experts and African ministers responsible for finance, planning, and economic development.
