Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has swiftly taken action by dissolving the State Executive Council and relieving all Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) of their duties. This decision comes into immediate effect.
Governor Aiyedatiwa assumed leadership in the state following the unfortunate demise of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu on December 27, 2023, after a prolonged illness. The late Governor Akeredolu’s funeral rites are scheduled to take place from February 15 to February 25 in Ibadan, Akure, and Owo.
This move by Governor Aiyedatiwa signals a new phase in the state’s administration as he takes charge to guide the affairs of Ondo State.
