In a bid to enhance the daily lives of Nigerian consumers, LG Electronics (LG), a pioneer in home appliances, has introduced a range of cutting-edge products for 2024. Emphasizing hygiene, comfort, efficiency, and sustainability, LG’s new line of home appliances combines advanced technology and thoughtful design to elevate the overall home experience.
Brian Kang, General Manager, Home Appliances, LG Electronics, West African Operations, expressed LG’s commitment to delivering products aligned with the preferences and requirements of Nigerian households. He stated, “We have planned to launch our new home appliances product in Nigeria this year with quality washing machines and dryers as well as other latest home appliances, providing solutions that cater to the diverse and dynamic needs of our customers.”
A highlight in LG’s new lineup is the LG WashTower, a washing machine and dryer combined in a single unit with advanced technologies and smart features. Available in Nigeria from March 2024, the LG WashTower is designed for ultimate user convenience. Unlike traditional stacked washers and dryers, the WashTower is a seamless, integrated solution. It indicates the duration for both washing and drying at the beginning of the cycle, optimizing laundry times. The all-in-one Center Control, located between the washer and dryer, simplifies the management of LG’s complete laundry solution.
The unique design of the WashTower emphasizes ease-of-use, with a single, intuitive interface, and a lower height compared to stacked units, making loading and unloading the top-mounted dryer more accessible. Despite its compact design, the WashTower boasts a substantial capacity, with a maximum load of 17 kilograms for the washer and 16 kilograms for the dryer.
LG has also unveiled the latest Styler clothing care solution at CES 2024. Incorporating a handheld, high-pressure steamer, the Dynamic Moving Hanger™, and Dual TrueSteam™ technology, the Styler delivers faster and more effective clothes-refreshing cycles with improved drying, dehumidification, and de-wrinkling performance. The handheld steamer enhances convenience by removing wrinkles directly from clothes, eliminating the need for a separate iron.
The Styler features LG’s Dual TrueSteam technology, employing two heaters for precise control of steam spray volume and strength. The Dynamic Moving Hanger system provides tailored care for various garment types, enhancing dust removal, deodorization, drying, and wrinkle mitigation.
Adding to its innovative lineup, LG introduces the mycup tumbler washer at CES 2024. This cleaning solution is designed to enhance the daily hygiene of tumbler users. With eco-conscious features and a sophisticated design, the mycup tumbler washer encourages the regular use of reusable cups and tumblers. Users can clean one tumbler at a time using the mycup app, selecting from Quick Wash and Extra Wash courses. The cleaning process is displayed on the upper panel, and the mycup washer incorporates eco-conscious technologies from LG dishwashers to save water.
In line with LG’s ESG commitment, Better Life for All, the mycup tumbler washer incorporates eco-conscious technologies, promoting a low-carbon lifestyle and reducing disposable cup waste.
