The Lagos State Police Command’s Rapid Response Squad (RRS) arrested five notorious robbery suspects around 10:30 pm on Thursday.
Acting on credible intelligence, the suspects were apprehended for harassing and robbing passersby under the Agege Under Bridge area in Lagos.
The arrested individuals are Akeem Alabi, Toba Bolu, Abah Abdullahi, Sulaiman Mohammed, and Yusuf Alabi.
The RRS Commander, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, affirmed the commitment to eliminating robbery incidents in the area, with more sting operations planned.
The suspects will be charged to court as directed by the Commissioner of Police, CP Adegoke Fayoade.
