In anticipation of the 2024 ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships, Team Nigeria’s men’s and women’s table tennis squads face a challenging draw, as reported by Abuja City Journal
The draw ceremony in Busan, South Korea, placed Nigeria’s men’s team in Group 5, sharing the stage with formidable opponents such as Japan, Chinese Taipei, the Czech Republic, and Madagascar.
On the women’s side, Team Nigeria is set to contend with Germany, Slovakia, Poland, and Mexico in Group 3. Notably, the top eight teams from the tournament will secure automatic berths for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in France.
