Kano Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for not intervening in the Supreme Court’s recent validation of his victory in the 2023 governorship election. He also commended the Supreme Court Justices for their fair judgment, stating, “The verdict has redeemed their image.”
Yusuf acknowledged the challenges during the election, noting that some individuals aimed to unlawfully claim their mandate due to political affiliations. However, he praised the President for not interfering.
Expressing appreciation to the people of Kano, Yusuf assured them of his commitment to delivering on promises in areas such as education, health, and empowerment. He remarked on the overwhelming support from the crowd during his arrival, emphasizing an open-door policy for the benefit of the citizens.
