Kano State Governor Abba Yusuff has announced the establishment of the Kano Elders Council, an advisory body comprising former governors, deputy governors, senate presidents, and other high-ranking officials.
The council, tasked with providing guidance on governance matters, includes notable figures such as former Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and retired Supreme Court and Appeal Court justices.
The leadership will also involve Ulamas (religious scholars), the business community, traditional rulers, and former heads of security agencies from Kano State.
