Governor Alex Otti has expressed his government’s readiness to collaborate with Indonesia for economic development in Abia. The Indonesian High Commissioner to Nigeria, Usra Harahap, visited the governor in Nvosi, Isiala Ngwa South LGA, where Otti reiterated the state’s eagerness to partner with foreign investors.
Acknowledging Indonesia’s scientific and technological progress, Otti emphasized Abia’s interest in collaborations covering education, agriculture, entertainment, health, trade, industry, commerce, and technology. He highlighted the potential for learning from Indonesia’s substantial GDP and proposed joint efforts to foster Abia’s economic growth.
Otti emphasized the need for an enabling environment, infrastructure, and seed capital to support the innovative spirit of Abia’s people, expressing the government’s commitment to providing such assistance. He proposed the establishment of an entrepreneurship and technology center in the state, seeking Indonesia’s expertise in this regard.
