The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), has refuted a list circulating on various media platforms that claims to expose fake professors within the institution.
In an official statement signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Council and Senate, C. O. Adeleye, the university dismissed the alleged professors as non-existent, asserting that the names provided are pure fiction.
Adeleye urged the public to disregard the misinformation and treat those spreading it as purveyors of lies and falsehood. The university emphasized that the authentic list of staff and professors is available in official publications such as the University Calendar and the Order of Proceedings for the 33rd Convocation Ceremony.
