Newly Sworn-In Ondo Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Announces First Round of Appointments

Following his swearing-in on the evening of Wednesday, December 27, the newly appointed Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, wasted no time in making key appointments, selecting five individuals to join his administration.

 

In a statement released by the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Omojuwa Olusegun, the appointments include Mr. Ebenezer Adeniyan as the Chief Press Secretary and Sunday Abire as the Special Assistant on New Media. Ebenezer Adeniyan, a seasoned journalist and former Publisher of Trace News magazine, brings his wealth of experience to the role.

 

Other appointments announced by Governor Aiyedatiwa include Smart Omodunbi as the Special Assistant on Political Matters, Monturayo Oyedele as the Special Assistant on Photography, and Temitayo Iperepolu as the Special Assistant on Domestic and Government House.

 

The statement emphasizes that these appointments take immediate effect, underscoring the new governor’s commitment to swiftly assembling a team to assist in the effective governance of Ondo State. The appointments signify the beginning of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administrative agenda following the unfortunate passing of his predecessor, Rotimi Akeredolu.
