NRC, Transport Companies Begin Operation to Slash Transport Fare

As declared on the 20th of Dec, 2023 by the FG to Slash Public Transport Fare By 50% and Zero cost on train transport, the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) have Implemented President Tinubu’s Directive, Begins Free Train Services Today.

Tinubu harbors 50% of transport costs, roll-out companies, and routes, In a bid to alleviate the high cost of conveyance among the Christian faith in this yuletide season. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has pledged to pay off 50% of transport expenses. The policy takes effect from 21 December and ends on 4 January 2024.

Participating companies in the FG’s plan to reduce the transport burden of traveling 5 million Nigerians are as follows:
