“The Controller also expressed deep gratitude to Justice Obot, ‘for not only granting mercy and pardon to the inmates but also for going the extra mile to provide relief items and welfare packages including mattresses, drugs, toiletries, amongst others, to the various Centres.'”
“He advised the freed inmates to be of good behavior, desist from crime and criminality, and make good use of the skills they have acquired in the facilities.”
“However, in appreciation of what they described as the CJ’s motherly disposition towards them, the lucky inmates at the Medium Security Custodial Centre (MSCC), Uyo, on behalf of others, presented a beautifully crafted handbag to Justice Obot, to appreciate her gesture.”
