In a recent revelation, Nigerian singer Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, widely known as Peruzzi, has openly stated that he may not collaborate with his colleague, Kizz Daniel, in the future. Peruzzi disclosed that a collaborative effort on the song ‘Gwagwalada’ took an unexpected turn when Kizz Daniel decided to give the track to another artist, BNXN, formerly known as Buju.
During the latest episode of the Zero Conditions podcast, Peruzzi shared the details of the incident, expressing his disappointment. According to him, he and Kizz Daniel had worked on ‘Gwagwalada’ together, and after playing the song for Buju, Kizz Daniel proceeded to release it with Buju and Seyi Vibez without consulting Peruzzi.
In his own words, Peruzzi explained, “Kizz Daniel and I made ‘Gwagwalada’ together, but he gave the song to Buju. I called Kizz for a collaboration. He came and played random songs, then he played ‘Gwagwalada.’ And he said he wants to call Buju so we can decide on the song. He called him, the guy came. He sent me the song there, and I went home. Only for me to see that they’ve dropped the song one day without anybody reaching out to me. So, I don’t think I will be working with Kizz Daniel anytime soon. Right now, I don’t think so.”
