In a tragic turn of events, Pedro Henrique, a 30-year-old Brazilian gospel singer, passed away during a performance on Wednesday night in Feira de Santana. The artist was singing ‘Vai Ser Tão Lindo’ at a religious event that was being livestreamed when he suddenly collapsed on stage.
Confirming the heartbreaking news, Henrique’s record label, Todah Music, informed Radio 93 that the young singer had suffered a massive heart attack. A video capturing the incident reveals Henrique energetically engaging with the audience, standing on the edge of the stage, before losing his balance and falling.
Taking to Instagram, Todah Music expressed their sorrow, stating, “There are very difficult situations in life, for which we have no explanation. We just need to understand that the will of God prevails! We believe Pedro will have a prominent place in the great Heavenly Choir! The songs in his voice will not die, and his legacy will live on through his wife, his daughter, Zoe, and so many lives that have been and will be reached by Christ through the records of his voice!” The music community mourns the untimely loss of Pedro Henrique, whose contributions to gospel music will endure through the memories of those touched by his artistry.
