Tambuwal Appoints 64 Aides Across Constituency Local Governments

Former Sokoto State Governor and current Senator, Aminu Tambuwal, has sanctioned the appointment of 64 aides spanning local governments within his constituency.

Tambuwal, who serves as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Housing and Urban Development, disclosed the selection of Constituency and Local Government Aides for the Sokoto South Senatorial District in a press release issued by his media aide, Muhammad Bello, on Monday.

Bello stated, “This initiative is part of the Senator’s efforts to empower his constituents and drive his development agenda.”

The newly appointed aides include individuals who previously served as his commissioners and special advisers during his tenure as the governor of the state.

Among the appointees are Aminu Bodinga, Special Adviser on Constituency Affairs and Stakeholders Engagement; Alhaji Ahmed Maradu, Special Adviser on Constituency Political Affairs; Bala Yabo, Special Adviser on Constituency Welfare; and Bello Tureta, Special Adviser on Constituency Traditional and Religious Affairs.

Others comprise Nasiru Tambuwal, Special Adviser on Constituency Projects, Youth and Student Affairs; Bashir Lambara, Special Adviser on Special Duties; Lauwali Fakku, Special Adviser on Community Orientation and Enlightenment; and Abdullahi Dange, Special Adviser on Constituency Security Matters.

The list further includes Lauwali Ubandoma, Surajo Isah, Ibrahim Ubale, Haliru Kilgori, Abubakar Rafi, Abubakar Salihu, and Ummaru Bodinga. Additionally, seven Special Assistants have been appointed for each of the seven Local Governments within the Sokoto South Senatorial District, namely Tambuwal, Kebbe, Shagari, Yabo, Bodinga, Dange-Shuni, and Tureta.

Senator Tambuwal extended his congratulations to the appointees, urging them to excel in the discharge of their duties.
