The family of Aisha Bello Mustapha, a revered broadcaster and former General Manager of NTA Parliament, has announced the sad demise of the iconic media personality. Aisha, renowned for her significant role as a leading newscaster on NTA Network News at 9 PM during the 90s and early 20s, peacefully concluded her distinguished career that spanned an impressive thirty-five years.
Her impactful journey in broadcasting concluded with her retirement from active service in May 2022, marking the end of an era in the realm of Nigerian media.
The family, in a statement conveying the heart-wrenching news, expressed, “Innalilahi wa inna Alaihin Rajiun. May Allah forgive our Mother Hajia Aishat Bello Mustapha. Mama, indeed, you are a very kind-hearted person. We will miss you and hope you are enjoying Rahma.”
