Oladipupo Oladimeji, popularly known as Oladips, has extended a heartfelt apology to Nigerians and his devoted followers for the recent death hoax orchestrated by his management. Contrary to speculation, Oladips clarified in a recent interview with Naija FM, Lagos, that the situation was “never a prank” but rather a result of his severe illness.
Addressing the public, Oladips expressed regret for the confusion and false alarm, emphasizing that he takes full responsibility for the incident. In light of the episode, the rapper pledged to ensure he is surrounded by professionals in the future to avoid a recurrence.
“To Nigerians and my core followers, I will never play with people’s emotions like that. It was never a prank. I was sick sick. I am really sorry for the confusion, the false alarm, and everything. I take full responsibility,” Oladips stated during the interview.
He further delved into the challenges he has faced, including financial mismanagement by his former manager and unwarranted death wishes. Oladips revealed that such experiences prompted him to reevaluate his team, aiming to surround himself with competent professionals moving forward.
“If my manager was a professional person he would not done such. That is why I said I take full responsibility. So, I’m really sorry. Make una forgive me abeg,” Oladips humbly requested, seeking understanding and forgiveness from his fans.
