Contrary to recent reports of his demise, Nigerian rapper Oladipupo Oladimeji, popularly known as Oladips, has clarified that he was not the victim of a death hoax. In a recent interview with Naija FM, Lagos, Oladips disclosed that he was actually unconscious for three days, and his team, believing him to be unresponsive, had initially thought he had passed away.
Detailing the situation, Oladips explained, “I was unconscious, my team members were hitting me and I wasn’t responding, so they thought I was dead. My mum told them not to take me to the hospital; they should bring me to her.”
Despite seeking medical attention, Oladips mentioned that he was taken to a non-conventional hospital, alluding to the adherence to traditional practices. As a “son of the soil,” he acknowledged that certain traditional rites were performed to revive him. The rapper expressed gratitude to his mother for her efforts in bringing him back to life during this challenging period.
