In an attempt aimed at fostering positive connections and economic collaboration, the Federal Government of Nigeria has successfully signed a Bilateral Air Service (BASA) agreement with the State of Kuwait.
The ceremony, took place during the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) meeting in Riyadh, which was presided over by Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development.
Keyamo said the agreement is a testament to Nigeria’s commitment to international cooperation in the aviation sector and highlighted its significance in bolstering relations between the two nations.
Describing the accord as a landmark moment in the diplomatic ties between Nigeria and Kuwait, the minister emphasized the potential it holds in elevating connectivity and enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries.
Tunde Moshood, Special Adviser on Media and Communications to the Minister, conveyed Keyamo’s optimism about the prospects of the newly signed agreement in a statement.
He emphasized its potential to stimulate trade, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges, ultimately facilitating economic growth for both nations.
