Afro-pop sensation Chike Agada barely escaped a life-threatening attack orchestrated by unknown gunmen in Abuja. The artist revealed the terrifying specifics of the encounter in a series of posts on his official social media account on Tuesday, revealing the dangerous nature of the scenario.

Chike, still shaken by the events, recounted the circumstances of the past 24 hours as a stark testimony to the fragility of life. He expressed profound gratitude to both divine intervention and the prompt response of the Department of State Services (DSS), which played a pivotal role in ensuring his safety during this perilous ordeal.

In his social media post, Chike shared, “The last 24hrs have been a true testimony. I had just left the opening of my friend’s restaurant and lounge in Abuja, only to discover I was being followed.”

Reacting swiftly to the imminent threat, Chike took decisive action to protect himself. “I instructed the driver to step on the pedal along Guzape Expressway, and as soon as he did, they started firing sporadically at my vehicle. I thank the Almighty because I left there unharmed.”
