The National Association of Seadogs (NAS) Pyratres Confraternity,Sahara Deck, in partnership with the Steve Surulere Saheed Foundation (SSSF),has shown love and commitment to people living with disabilities by assisting in donating crutches and wheelchairs to Persons With Disabilities(PWD), at the Karon – Majigi disabled community in Abuja.
The gesture is a significant initiative on the 2023 International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The Capoon, Sahara Deck Olamide Oni, speaking during the distribution of the crutches on Saturday, explained that the purpose was to provide relief, and lift the burden on the PWDs.
“We are here to commemorate the International Day of Persons living with Disabilities in partnership with Steve Surulere Saheed Foundation, this act is our commitment to showcase humanity give human dignity and also help the less privileged in our society We discovered people living in this community and noted things that they needed and we came here to support them in our own way.
